[14] Raising awareness through action & local plastic recycling

Beate's story started in Germany, after traveling across Americas her path led her to Costa Rica: a country with which she fell in love. Having the urge to protect her country of adoption’s natural marvel she founded the “Planet Conservation” project. The role of this community is to generate impact locally. Through a mix of volunteers and longer term workers, she helped with the Plastic pollution problem and collaborated with schools on sustainable education. Our discussion with Beate was highly inspiring and insightful, due to the maturity of her project.
